KAREN HOOTON                    

BSc(Hons) MFHom(Nurse) RSCN MIFPA MAR MGICM C&G Cert.Ed

Karen is a qualified nurse, Clinical Aromatherapist, Reflexologist, Homeopath and Beauty Therapist. She holds full membership with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, the International Federation of Professional Aromathreapists, the Association of Reflexologists, the Guild of Infant and Child Massage and the Faculty of Homeopathy, each of the above governing bodies providing Codes of Practice and Ethical Guidelines.

She has taken a course in Counselling Skills and has a teaching qualification.

Her Reiki 1 and 2 uses the Usui system of healing.

Karen is currently employed part-time (20 hours) as a Complementary Therapist for a charitable voluntary sector organisation. And has a special interest in working with children and women with post-natal depression.

She is currently studying with CNM to gain her diploma in Nutritional Therapy which she should complete in Summer 2010.
