Socratic Questions - Abstract section

The following questions are intended to help you construct your abstract.  

  1. What professional context or challenge led me to examine my practice more closely, and why did it matter to me?    - Concise context, specific trigger/problem 
  2. What guiding value emerged through my research as important to me to express more fully in my practice, and how did I come to recognise it?  -   Named value in practitioner language
  3. What question emerged in the course of my research, and why was creating a valid answer important to me?   -  Clear, single guiding question
  4. What methods helped me to identify and communicate my values, recognise contradictions, and evaluate and learn to improve my educational influences in learning, grounded in LET?   - LET framing; methods named
  5. How did I test the validity of my emerging knowledge claims during the course of my research? -   Critical friends, peer-validation groups, Communities of Practice etc.
  6. What aspect of my practice has changed as I have engaged in Living Educational Theory Research, and what educational, values-laden influence have I had (if any) as a consequence: -     in my own professional learning and development  -    In the learning and development of the social formation and  -    In the learning and development of those who comprise it,?    = Specific changes, not platitudes
  7. What ethical issues did I identify and address?    
  8. How does my learning contribute to knowledge of values-based practice?  -  Stated contribution
  9. How did my engagement with Living Educational Theory Research support my development as a knowledge-creator, and as a professional practitioner?
