This is a painting and poem I created to capture the beginning of my Ph.D. journey. There are multiple layers of mixed media in this piece and only three of those layers are visible. The image in the middle layer is an imperfect triskelion knot and the background is meant to generate the feeling of chakra energy. The final layer is a poem written over and over again representing many cycles.
