Shoe Box Appeal for Blythswood
The Sunday Club completed 68 shoe boxes and all have been delivered along with 8 crocheted blankets and 8 boxes gifted from a friend in the hebrides. The staff at Blythswood were thrilled and as ever appreciative of the hand knitted and crocheted items in our boxes.
Many thanks for all your donations, the toys, clothes, toiletries, stationery, sweets were all so lovely and the boxes were filled to the brim.
The collection box will remain in the hall for any items to be donated through the year (any left over or excess Christmas gifts will find a good home next year).
The children have enjoyed putting their energy into giving and it will become all the more real to Andrew when he visits Romania with Blythswood next year.
