My name is Kimberley and after leaving school, becoming a fully qualified hair stylist then pursuing a career in admin i finally am doing what i have always dreamed of and working with animals. Anybody who knows me will know that i have a real passion for all animals big and small and it has always been my ambition to work with them.
I have had a range of pets in the past ranging from horses to hamsters however at present i have a dog, two horses, a pony and two goldfish which you will come across as you browse through my website.
I currently attend dog classes every Tuesday night in Keith (Spey Valley Dog Training) which is an excellent way to get your dog socialised as well as picking up lots of helpful training hints & tips. I started my rescue dog off in the puppy section and within 7 weeks he was moved up and was training up for his Bronze Citizen Award which he succesfully passed, he is now onto his Silver which i know will be alot more challenging! I would highly reccomend these classes for both puppies and adult dogs as the results are very rewarding.
I have had lots of experience with horses working at Garmouth Riding Centre when i was younger helping out with stables, horse rides, etc. I also had the privilage of training up and competing a range of different horses which again is very rewarding. I have had involvment in the breaking in process of horses & ponys which highlighted to me the risks involved when working with horses, however, i am always very carefull and would never attempt a task that is too challenging or outwith my capabilities. At present i am having fortnightly flatwork lessons from a list 3 dressage judge and competing at Novice level with my younger horse Sammy. I have competed at both Novice & Elementry dressage with previous horses/ponys, Show jumped successfully up to 1Mtr & been round several open cross country courses. I am also a member of British Dressage.
I started up KEAPSS as i understand how hard it can be juggling a full time job, kids, owning a house and having to look after pets ontop of all this. I am here to help make this easier by tailoring to all your pets needs and wants when you cannot be there for them. Your pets will be in safe capable hands!
I am a weekly donator to Dogs Trust & SSPCA as well as having donated to a range of different animal charitys throughout the years. Last year i gave to BUAV, PETA and the Blue Cross. I think the work these charitys do is amazing and they need our continued support in order to progress and make even more miraculous changes and improments to animals welfare.
