“Off the Booze and On the Ball”
The GAA in Ireland have launched the above incentive. It has been developed to improve health/fitness and help raise funds for clubs. Mitchel’s have decided to take part in this event. Throughout January, we ask you to abstain from drinking alcohol. We then ask that you obtain sponsorship or make a donation from your savings. If you wish to sign up for this, please email me before 31st December and I will forward you a sponsorship form. What a better way to kick start the training? ? ?
Mens Indoor Training - Wednesday 11th January (lads eligible to play adult football)
As per my previous text, indoor training will soon start at Tudor Grange Old Boys Gym, Dingle Lane, Solihull (7.45 pm to 9.00 pm). The hire costs will need to be covered by players and so the more we get training the less individuals will need to pay. Please support and turn out weekly.
Annual General Meeting - Sunday 15th January
This will take place in the upstairs room at Our Lady of Lourdes Social Club, Trittiford Lane, Yardley Wood. Arrival from 2.30 pm for prompt start of 3.00 pm.
We are interested to hear your views and to move the club forward. If you are looking to get more involved in the management, training, administration etc, please let me know as soon as possible. I can be contacted by email (email@example.com) or on my mobile (07780 762969).
Many thanks and Happy New Year to you and your family.
