Let's not be serious, let's have some fun, and make a point at the same time.

I refer to burkas, which are banned in France but not in this country. So why not have burka parties where everyone wears one? And why not, we have masked balls - so why not burka balls?

Think what great fun it would be. Just imagine trying to find your husband, wife or partner.

Would Muslins object? Surely they have a sense of humour?

I feel these events would dampen down the feeling against the wearing of burkas, Perhaps it may even show the hardened burka wears how they really look to others.

So let's start a craze and have some fun - something different to brighten up our leisure time.
