Access for Hacking

Kingsburgh Forest 

The Kingsburgh Forest Trust (KFT), has kindly agreed to let IOSRC members gain access to the woodland.

Please can all members read the following details:
In order to gain entry IOSRC members will need to contact KFT’s Woodland Manager, Robin Kennedy, preferably at least 24 hours in advance. (Contact details for Robin have been forwarded to all members by e.mail on 12.5.12)

• Access on a Wednesday & Saturday - until Oct 31st.
• KFT suggest parking inside the main gates and these will be unlocked to allow access.
• KFT would ask that riders do not use the small footpaths – there are only two at the moment in the first re-planted section – but stick to the more substantial and obvious main tracks
• The Directors request that there be no galloping and would expect club members to be aware of other users and take commonsense precautions when in their vicinity.
