2011 Events

In addition to our Tuesday evening performances in the Square in Portree, here is a list of our up and coming events:

16th April - Charity Walk - the band are leading a charity walk down from the Lump, in Portree

14th May - Moonlight Meander - the band are playing at this chairty event

TBC June - 50th Anniversary Celebration Weekend

11th June - Skye Half Marathon - the band will be leading off and providing entertainment at the annual half marathon

TBC 2nd July - Mallaig Fishermans Mission Gala Day - providing entertainment to the crowds in Mallaig

30th July - Applecross Games - the bnad will be heading up over the Bealach na ba once again to play at the games

3rd August - Skye Games -the band will be providing numerous slots of entertainment at the games throughout the day

6th August - Golspie Highland Games - this year the band have been invited to take part in the massed bands at the games in Golspie

13th August - Skye Agricultural Show - the band will be providing some entertainment again at this years show - in addition the committee will hopefully be running their usual stall too...

20th August - Nairn Games - the band will be heading through to Nairn once again to join up with the other bands for the day - wonder how successful our DM will be at the competition this year - fingers corrsed for you!

TBC 27th August - Portree Lifeboat Open Day - the band will hopefully be leading a small parade down from the Square to the Pier in support of the local lifeboat and their annual fundraising event
