We have a friendly group of keen crafters ready to introduce you to new skills. We all have slightly different experience so workshops are usually available on the following days:

Peg Loom Learn a simple weaving technique using hand dyed local wool to create a wall hanging to remind you of beautiful west coast views. We provide written instructions to refer back to and you can buy a loom and hook when you finish if you want to get crafting at home. 2.5 hours £25

Needle Felting Using sharp needles and wool fibre, let us introduce you to felting the dry way! A great technique for broaches or decorative items. (Not suited to children). 2 hours £20

Spinning Learn to make your own yarn. We can introduce you to drop spindle and using beautiful hand dyed fibre you can start to make your own unique yarn. Those who wish can move on to the wheel. Further lessons available as you progress. 3 hours £30

Dye your own yarn We offer a unique opportunity for you to mix your favourite colours to create a beautiful hand painted yarn. Price includes 100g of Falkland Island merino wool. Go on! Knit yourself a memory! 1.5 hours £22

Wet felt picture Make your holiday memories last by making a wet felt picture of hills, water or sunset. Let us lead you through this fascinating process which involves wool, soap, water (and rubbing!). 2 hours £25

Crochet We can teach you the basic stitches and send you away with a coaster and some confidence to try your next project. We even provide instructions for the stitches so you can practice at home. We sell hooks too, so you can leave with all the tools you need. 1.5 hours £15

Beginner's Knitting We offer sessions to learn knitting with needles. We can help you learn to cast on, cast off, increase, decrease, knit and purl. With these techniques you will have sufficient skills to tackle a huge number of basic projects...the world of knitting awaits you! Suitable for all ages. 1.5 hours £15

Jewellery making We offer short beadwork workshops for children and longer ones for adults! Come and explore our large range of beads and make a bracelet, earrings or necklace. Children - 1hour £10 Adults - 2 hours £20 |
Workshop availability
Due to space we are only able to offer one type of activity at a time. Therefore, it is advised that you book your place and activity early.
