Strathclyde Country Park

The country park is centrally located with easy access from the M74, and M8.   The park has a fantastic play area, and nice walks a boating lake and boat and cycle hire, not to mention amazonia; http://www.discoveramazonia.co.uk/ and lots of other option is there is wet weather.

If you are not up to camping, there is a Holiday Inn Express adjacent to the campsite.
