More Bishopstone names
We've just added more names to the list of Bishopstone soldiers who fought and returned. We've also discovered another young man, Albert Miles, who was born in Bishopstone and killed in action. At the time of his death, his parents were living at West End, Bishopstone. Albert lived in Epsom with his wife, May, and is commemorated there. The Epsom and Ewell History Explorer website includes an account of Albert's life amongst its excellent listings of all local Great War memorials.
