Snow conditions are now posted on our club's Facebook page. Go to www.facebook.com and search for Highland Nordic. Please click "like" and you will get cross-country ski conditions in the Inshriach and Glenmore areas.

Beautiful skiing back of Farleitre on the Badenoch Way in the heart of the forest, January 2010. Club tour.

Skis available for club members.

Try skiing the Insh Village tour. Park at GR819019 and follow the forest track up to the first T junction. Turn left and climb steadily up towards Farleitre. Follow the paths around Farleitre to the path junction at GR833019. From here cross the area of clear fell and then follow the forest track back towards Craig Dubh. At GR824008 turn right and ski down to a junction with a fingerpost pointing right to Insh. This junction is the start of our club sprint course and you will often find tracks here to follow. The sprint course goes south-west although to reach your car you will need to turn right and ski down through the forest back to the B970. The tour will take around 40 minutes so why not go round again.
