Following on from the successful camp that took place in November 2007, Young Athletes are being invited to attend a follow up camp on Saturday 15th March 2008 at Queens Park.

39 Young Athletes from the Highland and Islands area have selected to attend the Bank of Scotland Young Athlete Development Camp based on their performances throughout 2007.  During the day athletes have the opportunity to work with Regional Coaches in core and event specific sessions.  This Camp is the first step in the young Athlete Pathway with the next step being qualification and Selection for the Regional Squads.

Run in conjunction with Scottish Athletics the camps are also open to all Coaches.  They provide are a valuable opportunity to share, discuss and learn new ideas with Regional and other local coaches.
