At the UK Athletics Awards Dinner at the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull (Birmingham) on Saturday the 5th December two awards were won by Scotland and both awards came to the Highlands.
Following their success in the scottishathletics Awards in November, Angus Dick, Chairman of the partnership and Julie Wyatt, Athletics Development Manager along with Ailene Cameron from Nairn travelled to Birmingham.
The Highland Athletic Partnership won the Partnership of the Year Award and the winner of the Volunteer of the Year Award was Nairn AACs Ailene Cameron. Commenting on the successes Angus Dick, Partnership Chair stated; “Winning these Awards at Scottish and UK levels reinforces the commitment to the development of Athletics and strength of the Partnership work across our sport in the Highland Region”.
