Henley Darts League Rules
Mission Statement
“To be the provider of a competitive environment that is enjoyed by dart players of all calibres
League Fees
The League Fees for each team will be £35 per season
League fees are to be paid to the Treasurer at the start of each season
Teams and Registration
Each team should consist of a minimum of 6 players
Each team is to complete a Players Registration Sheet and be sent to the Fixture Secretary by the 3rd match.
No new players will be allowed to registrar after the 7th League Game
Any new player must also be registered 2 games prior to the start of the 1st Cup Round. Failure to comply too this rule and the cup match will be awarded to the opposing team
Team Captains must obtain approval from the Licensee before allowing Under 18 to play
Match and Cup Games
The matches will consist of 6 Single Games 501 straight start and double finish best of 3 and 3 Doubles Games 701 Double Start and Finish one game
All matches to start at 8.30 pm.
Both Captains are to sign the match sheet and the result is to be texted to the Fixture Secretary on the night of the match please
2 pts is awarded to the winning team
Knockout Competitions
Any player that is registered in the Henley League can enter these competitions. It will cost £2 to enter per player. Each Competition is as per League games.
Format for the Competitions are as follows
Singles: 501 Best of 3 Straight Start Double finish
Doubles: 501 Best of 3 Double Start Double Finish
Capt & Sec: 501 Best of 3 Double Start Double Finish
Mixed Pairs: 501 Best of 3 Straight Start Double Finish Lady for the Bull on each occasion
All Finals from these competitions will be played at Wootton SC at the end of the season
Committee and Meetings
The Committee will consist of Chairman Vice Chairman Treasurer Fixture Secretary and 1 other and will be elected at the AGM at the start of the season
The Committee will be responsible for matters relating to the League. All queries or complaints needs to be put in writing and sent to the Fixture Secretary.
We hold 2 meetings per year which are the Monday’s before the start of the season and this is when League Fees for the coming season need to be paid
Behaviour
The League will not accept inappropriate remarks directed at any member or committee of the league
ANY Member found bringing the League into disrupt will be banned of Face Book and possibly the League
Food
It is for the home team to decide if they wish to provide food at the end of the match and to inform the visiting captain when the draw is made. If food is provided visiting teams are asked to support the fundraising to help pay for the food
