How Are They Tested?

The 7 Point Plan.

1) A visual check of the items lead and plug and the appliance.

2) A check that the plug meets current standards and isn't damaged. If damaged we can replace it at cost. The cover is removed, the fuse checked for the correct rating and replaced if needed.

3) The wiring is examined and the lead checked for damage.

4) The appliance is checked for missing or damaged parts.

5) The appliance is electrically tested with calibrated equipment to current standards.

6) If all is ok a Pass label is attached with the test date and inspectors signature.

7) If an item fails either the visual or electrical checks and test the item is labelled Failed, staff are informed and the item is made inoperable.

All results are documented in a complete report for your records and to show your insurance company if needed.

You receive an inventory of each appliance type, name, location, and description and the test results. If any item failed you will receive a list with explanations.
