The fund-raising really started with Fetes in 1995 and 1996 An exciting calendar of events was drawn up, including not only the usual training weekends but something for every Section as well. A Rainbow day, a Brownie fun day and a Celebration camp, culminating in a "Son et Lumiere" depicting the history of  Foxlease in sound and light. The actual Birthday of Foxlease, 28th February 1997 being marked by an Elizabethan Weekend followed by a service of thanksgiving in the Parish Church. The year ended as it began, with a New Year House Party. Marking the end of a memorable year of celebrations.
