Aiden Grimshaw

"Now that's what I call, a popstar"

Aiden Grimshaw was first bought to our attention on series 7 of the itv1 show, 'The X Factor'. From his first audition when he sang Kanye West's "Gold Digger", he had us captivated and had Simon Cowell proclaiming him to be a 'popstar' before the judges had even voted him through.

Of couse, Aiden sailed straight through to bootcamp where he sang the David Gray song "This Year's Love". At the judges house in Australia, he was watched over by the 'boys' mentor, Danni Minogue and her X Factor assistant Natalie Imbruglia, as he sang "Cannonball" by Damien Rice and successfully clinched a spot in the final 12. This eventually became 16 after the wildcard round was introduced.

Aiden is currently 18 years old and a student at the Michael Hall Theatre School in Blackpool.

Unfortunately having been one of the favourites to win the competition Aiden found himself in the bottom two in week 6 and was eliminated! However, we are quite certain that this is not the last we will hear of Mr. Grimshaw, and we're determined to help support him in his quest to become a star!
