Swallows & Martins?

 This is a House Martin. Look at his black cap and white body! |  House Martins make nests out of mud and stick them onto your wall, under the roof, where it is sheltered. They make a small hole for the entrance. | |  This is a Swallow. Look at his red face! |  Swallows often build their nest inside a barn on a ledge or wooden beam. It is an open topped nest. | |  This is a sand Martin. They are a light brown, sandy colour with a white tummy. |  Sand Martins usually make their nest in a hole in the sandy cliff 'face'. | |  The swift is a sooty brown, that looks black against the sky as they swoop and screech! |  Swifts are known for sleeping on the 'wing' (while flying). Their nests are made of twigs and mud and are small and untidy. They are sometimes made inside a chimney. | | | | |
