TERMS & CONDITIONS

Essential Requirements

Vaccines.  Only cats that have a current vaccination certificate against Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu can be accepted for boarding.  Owners must produce an up-to-date vaccination certificate on arrival.

Flea and Worming Treatments.  Please ensure that your cat/cats have been treated for fleas and worms before their arrival at the cattery.  If fleas and/or worms become apparent during a cats stay the appropriate treatment, recommended by Moray Coast Vet Group, will be administered.  Owners should note that the cost of the treatment will be charged for.

Health

No cat suffering from, or suspected to be suffering from, any infectious or contagious disease can be accepted.  The proprietor reserves the right to refuse admission to any cat showing any signs of ill health pending advice from a veterinary surgeon. Owners will appreciate that this is essential in order to safeguard the health of all cats boarded.

If a cat should become unwell during boarding, veterinary assistance from Moray Coast Vet Group is assured.  Any treatment considered advisable will be carried out and may be covered by the cattery insurance except in the case of any pre-existing condition when treatment will be at the owner's expense.

Male cats over the age of seven months which have not been neutered, will not be accepted for boarding.

Booking Fees and Conditions

The following fees are charged per day:

Single Cat                                £9.00

Two Cats Sharing                     £15.00

The minimum charge for boarding is 3 days.

Cancellations within 7 days will result in the full fees being due.  If you decide to collect your cat/cats before the end of the period booked the payment for the full period will remain due.  This also applies if you decide to drop off your cat/cats at a later date than agreed.  This is necessary as the booking cannot be re-allocated at such short notice.

We accept payment by cash, cheque or bank transfer.
