Glasgow Mid Argyll have had a ladies teams for just over ten years. The club has always been very supportive of the ladies teams which have gone on from strength to strength. The ladies section now have two teams, which play in the Women's Camanachd National Division One, and South Division Two. Last season (2010) both teams won their respective leagues.

We currently have a 1st and a 2nd team and welcome all abilities. If you live in the Glasgow area and fancy something different why not join our ladies shinty team, all we ask is you are 13 or above! We train on a Wednesday night from 6.30pm - 8pm at Victoria Park in Scotstoun / Hillhead Sports Club in the West End. Socialising
At GMA ladies we like to socialise and have many team nights out in the Park Bar and the Millhouse on Byers Road to name a couple! The Millhouse also very kindly provided us with after match catering last season.
