 Wavy wall coping Stonemason Andre Lemieux from Canada taking a photo. He was staying with us for a week or so and doing some work on Caithness Flagstone walls and boulder walls, as well as flagstone fencing repairs with 90 year old Hector Sutherland. Hector has been flag fencing since he was a boy. Andre saw a lot of the old , old stonework up here and had a great time. |

 Sept. 2013. Helping out at Patrick Macafee's course again on Inis Oirr at the Feile na gCloch.I did a presentation as well, which was a great success. The volunteers built 130 feet of wall in two days. The most built yet at the event. |

It will have a firepit in the middle and rustic circular seating.Niches for wee stormproof candle lanterns too. Plus a few little surprises !I was asked to build a snailshell wall but it grew !It is part of a project that was featured on a " Beechgrove Garden " TV project in October 2013.. |
