A Look at some of the work completed by GAP Plumbing and Heating Ltd.

Today we completed a 7 day project of upgrading a heating system from an old Baxi back boiler system to a new pressurised Glow Worm combi system and a full bathroom renovation.

The old inefficient boiler was removed along with the extra tanks and pipework that are no longer needed which made extra free space in the upstairs bathroom. The new boiler has been fitted in the loft area to keep it from being seen or heard at all, the boiler is controlled by a wireless remote thermostat. New thermostatic radiator valves have been fitted to all radiators for comfort and energy efficiency.

In the bathroom we removed all of the old heating tanks, cupboard, tiles, bath and basin before making the walls smooth enough to paint. Pipe work was altered to fit a shower instead of a bath and all lead pipework was replaced. The new floor was layed before the shower tray, marble effect shower board and chrome shower surround were fitted along with new basin and W.C.
