A Ideally you should bring some flat-soled shoes. This is because the mats cost hundreds of pounds to purchase and flat shoes help to protect them. Woods will be provided
Q How much does it cost?
A Currently the annual membership is £15 plus £3.00 per session. There is no charge for your first visit.
Q Is there a dress code?
A Yes - The convention is white tops and grey trousers but this is not necessary to start with.
Q How much do woods cost to buy?
A As much as you wish to pay! Second-hand ones are often available but you can pay several hundred pounds for top brands.
Q I have bowls I used for lawn bowls. Are these suitable?
A Yes, the bowls used in short mat are the same.
