Serving the needs of the 21st century, Bleakhouse Library has had a large extension built and undergone a major refurbishment funded by the Big Lottery. We have three community rooms which are available for hire by non profit making organisations and groups. We have a variety of groups which use these rooms already and actively welcome new members. Such groups include Make Friends With A Book and Sandwell Mind.
Within the library itself, there is a large and varied range of stock. Its Learning Centre offers free public access to the internet via a large number of computers. We also run computer classes and genealogy courses. We are a very family orientated library and hold regular children's activities such as craft sessions and homework club.
