Accommodation

From the kitchen the stairs descend to a hallway and a lovely light and spacious beamed bedroom with glass door to the garden, a pretty bathroom and laundry room with washer, dryer and extra fridge space.

French windows open into the front courtyard and with two other large windows overlooking the fields and velux windows in the roof this makes a stunning and light and airy living space with a terracotta tiled floor, wood burner and double bedroom on the mezzanine.

The farmhouse is surrounded by lovely gardens with various shady seating, sunbathing and eating areas and an above ground plunge pool for cooling off.

The region is rightly famed for its gastronomic prowess with foie gras, confit and magret of duck on most of the local excellent and reasonably priced restaurant menus. The wonderful full-bodied Cahors wine can be sampled at many local vineyards and the countryside is resplendent with bright yellow sunflowers and all manner of fruit trees.
There are activities such a riding, canoeing and for the more adventurous parachuting locally.
