WELCOME AND GOODBYES
We would like to welcome Charlotte, Annalise, Erin and Katelyn to our unit.

WEBB IVORY
The catalogue will still be available after the October break so please let me know if you have not received it yet and please feel free to pass it on to others. Any monies made are put back into unit funds to help run the organizations

PGL CAMP
Any forms that have not been returned can be handed in the week we come back. Could all girls please bring an insulated cup of some form (sorry we forgot to put it on the kit list)

SUBS
From next term we are trying a new way of paying subs. Each term will be a one off payment of *15 a term to be paid on the first night no matter how long the term is or absenteeism. If this is inconvenient for anyone please do not hesitate to contact me.

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY
Just to let you all know that the church service and parade will fall on Sunday 11th November. Times tba

SALLY THE GOOD TURN DOLL
The idea of Sally is to encourage the brownies to help their peers. Once they have completed a job they fill in the label and attach it to Sally. Keep up the good work girls (and parents).

USED STAMPS
Please keep bringing in the used stamps. The girls get a sticker towards the Abbey Trophy each week that they bring in a stamp. These are then sent away to a charity.

INSPECTION
Each week we have inspection where the girls have to dress smart and have all their books and boxes, hair tied back in a yellow or brown bobble, clean hands and tidy nails. They receive a sticker for the chart if  they pass.

ON YOUR MARKS BADGES
This term we have been working towards our olympic themed badges with learning a new dance, tasting a Brazilian drink, making and tasting foreign fruits in a fruit salad to name a few of the things we have tried. We are going to continue with this next term.

GLENGARRY PRODUCE SHOW
Once again we had several rosette winners. Congratulations to them all and a big well done to Josie for winning the cup in the junior section.

LOST BADGES & BOOKS
We do keep some spare badges, books, woggles etc in stock if you need to replace them. Prices on enquiry. Brownies will need a woggle for inspection and parades.

FULL UNIT
Our unit is now full (bursting at the seams) so we are starting up a waiting list so if you have a daughter or know of someone who will be 7 in the future please ask them to contact us with details. Thank you.

DARK NIGHTS
When we go back after the holidays the nights will be dark so please come into the hall to collect your girls. NO girls will be allowed to go home on their own or cross the car park to cars without an adult. Thanks.
