The planning inspectorate has ruled that the demolishing of the Penny Ferry will be allowed to go ahead and full costs awarded against the City Council.  Thank you to everyone who voted in support of protecting the Penny Ferry as a community resource.  The decision is a disappointment – as another pub in the area bites the dust.  Please do keep supporting the Haymakers – a truly local pub with locally produced beer.
