About the League

The league operates in the Felling and Gateshead area of Tyne and Wear and for the 2012 season has a compliment of 12 teams.

Matches are played on Monday nights throughout the year with all competitions played at sponsoring venue Felling Cricket Club.

Teams consist of a minimum of 6 players and a maximum of 10 for each match.

League matches consist of  11 legs with one point awarded for each winning leg. The format is 2 x 3 A-Side of 801, 3 x Pairs of 701, and 6 x Singles of 501.

Home team throw first in the opening 3 a side leg, then alternate throughout the match.

New members can only be admitted at the yearly AGM. Any team wishing to join the league should make representation to the league secretary Danny McAtominey whose details can be found on the contact page.
