2nd FantaSea Show now running

by Jimmy Quinn - 00:26 on 11 April 2010

Set up the show all day on Monday 5th,with help of my good freind and exhibition manager susie! also freind ben who arrived in the afternoon. We managed to hang all the pictures by 5pm and got home exhausted. I was so tired that evening that after droping Susi off home I asked the angels to get me home safely! And they did, along with a parking space right outside the flat;thankyou angels!

First day open on Tues 6th;fairly quiet, just 5 visitors.

Weds 7th. Quiet day. spent it making a paper sculpture for on site. The evening party was great fun, attended well by around 20 people.

Thurs 8th. had most of the day off,but arrived at 4pm to help out with the scriptwrting competion evening. The hall was packed upstairs and we were very busy in the intervals serving drinks & cake, which Gina had spent all day baking.Got home 10pm.

Friday 9th. Day off. As it was lovely sunny and not windy, I walked one large canvas down to the hall at 5pm (it was too big to fit in the car!)

Sat 10th.  Filled my purple trolly siutcase with all the paints and brushes needed, plus shoulder bag with sheets for the floor and trays for paint. wheeled that lot down to the hall. 3 visitors in morning. More arrived after lunchtime in time for the first performance painting;about 8 people all together. The music I chose was 'Gimme some Lovin' and 'Jingo-Limbo Rock'. Covered in paint but good fun!
