Welcome to the Lingfield and Dormansland Fairtrade Group.We wish to share with you our activities and hopefully encourage support for Fairtrade.

Fairtrade Lingfield and Dormansland has gained prominence since 2004 when it was set up.It covers an area with a population ofaround 7,500. Our aim is to spread the word about Fairtrade and encourage others in the community, voluntary organisations and local businesses to  use Fairtrade products and local shops to have them readily available.

Our Group meets about six times a year. We have regular events throughout the year and particularly during Fairtrade Fortnight held in March. We use local Press, Radio and posters to advertise our Fairtrade Fortnight programme (Community News, Lingfield Living, Village Voice, Tandridge Chronicle  (our programme this year mentioned in Daily Telegraph), County Border News, East Grinstead Observer,Tandridge Radio podcast (by e-mail to 14 countries world wide, and 192 cities!).
