Bonfire & Fireworks Night 2017
The Evanton Social and Event group are delighted to announce our Bonfire & Fireworks Night will be on Saturday 4th November 2017. Its notice is delayed somewhat by regulations, license and health and saftey acceptance.
The Night will start at the Diamond Jubilee Hall at 6pm, with a procession down to the field, where the Bonfire and Fireworks display will commence.
Please note, there are no fireworks or sparklers to be brought in to the field, and there will be stewards ensuring everyone enjoys the event and to make sure everyone is safe.
There will be collection buckets in the field for anyone that would like to donate to future events, and we hope you will all enjoy the show.
Mountain Bike Event.
30May 2015 for all ages and abilities starting in the Evanton woods.Only £2 entry for kids, medals for all entrants.
Only £5 entry for youths and adults. (trophies and medals)
Water and feeder stations en route. Marshalls and First aid
Sweep up of routes for breakdowns. Full size maps available on request
Cycle helmets must be worn
Event 1 for Kids registration 11:00am Evanton woods. All other competitors register at Evanton Wood at 12.00 noon. Registration and start for above will be sign posted.
Evanton Fyrish Fun Hill Race
Saturday 13th June 2015, Blackrock Football Field, 11am Registration
Juniors - £2 entry, Intermediates - £3 per entry, Adults - £5 per entry
Also in attendance, which will have additional charges;
Laser Tag, Climbing Wall, Bouncy Castle, Ice Cream Van, Various Arts and Crafts stalls.
Family Fun Sports Day
Friday 11th July 2014, Blackrock Football Field, 2pm onwards.
We are hosting a fun sports day on Friday 11th July, with all the usual favourites plus much much more.
The events will be split into Various catagories of age groups;
Toddlers Primary 1 & 2 Primary 3& 4 Primary 5& 6 Primary 7 12 years + 16 years +
We aim to use the Kiltearn House Teams as a basis to split each age group into teams, but reserve the right to alter according to numbers attending.
Events will include; Flat Race Sack Race
Egg & Spoon Race Relay Race Obstacle & Dress up Race
Toddlers Race Dribble Race Skipping Race
There will also be a 'beat the goalie' competition, Crossbar Challenge, and a Mountain Bike challenge (for all those that missed out on the challenge in May)
BBQ, Ice Cream Van and Bouncy Castle shall be running throughout the event.
There is absolutely no charge for any of the events, however there will be a charge for the BBQ and the Ice Cream Van. There shall be a collection bucket at the judges table, with all proceeds going to the Evanton Fundraising group, which brings you this event.
We look forward to seeing you on the 11th July 2014 at 2pm, hopefully the weather will be nice for us.
