We currently support children to develop by following the EYFS framework.

We focus on developing each child as an individual and therefor we plan for each child within the setting. Each child has a key worker and that key worker will build a learning journey for your individual child. We will meet your child and find out about their individual interests at a home visit or meeting planned at the setting. This is the very begining of their learning journey and we use this information to ensure your child settles as quickly as possible. These initial meetings and settling times a a valuable basis. From this point on your child will be planned for, observed and assessed to ensure we are meeting their exact individual needs and that we are developing their knowledge and experience at every possible opportunity.

As well as continually planning next steps for your individual child, we also plan fun topics linked to the interests of the children currently in the setting. This will change and develop as the interests of the group change and develop.

Through our individual and group plans we meet all aspects of the EYFS and ensure that the children are continually learning and developing through play based activities. Learning in fun ways that allow the children to develop naturally and at their own level and speed. We are true believers in learning through play!
