Viva survives

Foundations going down for the houses replacing the Empire

The Viva is wrapped again - because of house building

The Empire is now a building site for houses -
and the Viva is protected once again

Which ever way you look at it - its protected

Now the scaffolding goes up for the new houses

Work is under way for the houses

The houses, now known as Empire Walk, were completed in September 2013

The Viva is still there - waiting to be unwrapped

The Viva gains ground.   A new stake extends the frontage on ground where in the 1950's crowds used to queue for cinema seats.    Not only has the Viva held its ground - it has won some.   Viva la Viva la Empire!
