As the headline says the legend that is Eric(The Crafty Cockney)Bristow was at Easthouses Miners Welfare club and as some may say that his best darting days are behind him he did'nt fail to entertain. Although he was beaten a few times it did not stop him giving the crowd some stick and helping the youngsters he played by giving them a few pointers and signing aotugraphs. He also told everyone that Gary Anderson can't play the game he can hit 180's but has not got the bottle to be a great player but Rab Thornton has. Eric also spoke with great affection about Jocky Wilson and was visibly upset when people commented about him. On a lighter note Eric scored his trademark 3 to a huge cheer (for those too young to remember Eric scored a memerable 3 in the World final and ever since it has been known as an Eric or a Bristow needles to say he went on and won).
