Lakeside 2013
Round 1
Welcome to the Lakeside page there has been a few casaulties already in the first round of the lakeside,with Martin Adams losing to Jimmy Hendriks 3-2,Tony Eccles going down 3-2 to Geert De Vos.There are no Scottish players in the second round as Gary Stone lost 3-1 to Steve Douglas,Mark Barilli lost 3-2 to Scott Mitchell and Ross Montgomery got beat 3-1 to Paul Jennings.


round 2
Round 2 saw the number 1 seed Stephen bunting lose to Darryl Fitton 4 sets to 2.Jan Dekker won against Gary Thompson 4-3.Richie George beat Jimmy Hendrixs 4-2
The quarter final line up is Darryl Fitton-Wesley Harms,Tony O'shea-Robbie Green,Jan Dekker-Richie George and Scott Waites- Paul Jennings.
The Ladies semifinals bring together Lisa Ashton-Sharon Prins and a clash of the champions with Anastasia Dobromyslova playing Trina Gulliver.

Men's quarterfinals
The first quarterfinal saw Wesley Harms beat one of the crowd favourites Darryl Fitton 5-2. In the other another crowd favourite Tony O'Shea beat Robbie Greene 5-3.
The first ladies semifinal was won by Lisa Aston who beat Sharon Prins 2-0.


The second ladies semifinal was won by Anastasia Dobromyslova she beat Trina Gulliva 2-1. This gives an Anastasia-Lisa final.
The third quarterfinal brought Bobby Georges son Richie against Jan Dekker after falling behind 3-1 Richie forght back to win 5-4.
In the fourth quarterfinal Scott Waites went into a 4-0 lead but despiet a gallant fight back by Paul Jennings he lost 5-2.



The ladies Lakeside world championship was won and retained by Anastasia Dobromyslova when she beat Lisa Aston 3-2 in a thrilling final.



The two men's semifinals brought together the tournament favourite Scott Waites and new commer Richie George. Scott went into a five set lead but despite a small comeback after the break Scott lent on to win 6-1.
The second semifinal saw a repeat of last years semifinal bringing Tony O'Shae and Wesley Harms and the outcome was the same with a win for Tony 6-4.


Scott Waites was crowned the new B.D.O. Lakeside World Champion.In a final that promised so much but delivered so little Scott won with an impresive 7 sets to 1 victory over crowd favourite Tony O'Shae. Scott was 5-1up at the interval and concluded the match not long after. Scott picked up the winners cheque of £100.000 and Tony picked up £30.000 as runner up.
