Welcome to the Dingwall Scottish Country Dance Club

We are in the process of building this site

Welcome to the Dingwall Scottish Country Dance Club's website.

We welcome adults to join our Club and attend our classes and rallies.  If you have danced in the past, fancy a new hobby, moved to the area or are just on holiday in the area, do contact us and join us for some dancing.

If you have not tried Scottish country dancing before don't worry -  we will make you welcome.  You don't need any special clothes or equipment.  Ladies may wish to wear a skirt but trousers are fine.  For classes men generally wear trousers.  A kilt is not necessary but many men wear the kilt for rallies at which most ladies will wear a dress or skirt.  Soft shoes are necessary and it is best to purchase them as soon as you feel it is a hobby for you. We can advise you on different styles. You do not have to bring a partner.  Scottish country dancing is very sociable, people mix and you will have a new partner for each dance.

We meet in Ferintosh Church Hall in Conon Bridge

Weekly classes restart on Tuesday 9 April, after our Easter break,  from 2 - 4pm.  We welcome all adults.  Beginners are welcome as are people who have dancing in the past and wish to return.

Extra Summer classes will then take place on the second and fourth Tuesdays in June, July and August:  from 7.30 - 9.30pm.
Classes cost £3.

Dancers will be requested to bring their own drinks to class.

We look forward to seeing you all in Conon Bridge soon.
