Saturday Outings for 2025

All start at 10am 

 

Saturday 5th April -  Abriachan.  Various tracks in the forest and down to the hide at Loch Buidhe, plus other interesting buildings.  Approx. 2-3 miles.  01381 620741 

 

Saturday 3rd May - Shin Falls Area.  Path to see Falls and then forestry paths in the area. May go on to Lairg to Ferrycroft Visitor Centre.  Approx. 2-3 miles.  01349 867224

Saturday 5th July - Nethy Bridge.  River and forest walk. Birds and flowers.  Mainly flat 2-3 miles. 01381 620741

 

Saturday 2nd August -  Golspie area. Through Dunrobin Woods to castle and back along shore – undulating to start but flat at shore.  Approx. 2-3 miles.  01349 830325

 

Saturday 6th September - Farr, School Wood.  Riverside and woodland walk, some ups and down but not too steep.  Approx. 2.5 miles.  01381 621249

 

Thursday Morning Walks for 2025

All start at 10.am

 

Thursday 17th April - Bogallan.  Woodland walk along forest paths and ride – could see squirrels.  Approx. 2 miles.  01381 620965

 

Thursday 15th May - Beauly River.  From Kilmorack Dam, circular walk along river.  Spring flowers and majestic trees. View of turrets of Beaufort Castle.  Approx. 2.5 miles.  01349 867224

 

Thursday 19th June -  Inverness, Whin Park and Hydro Ness.  Flat walk through park and alongside River Ness.  Approx. 2 miles.  01349 867224

 

Thursday 17th July -  Ord Hill, Strathpeffer.  Undulating walk along golf course and through wood. Good views of area.  Approx. 2 miles.  01349 862238

The AGM will be on Thursday, 18th September at 10.30am

in St Clement’s Church Hall, Dingwall
