Arrive for lessons quickly, with appropriate kit (including a change of footwear) at the correct teaching area.
· Be changed and ready to start work no more than eight minutes after the bell.
· Report any medical difficulties and deliver notes to the teacher before the start of the lesson.
· Bring kit even if you are injured – alternative work will be provided if possible.
· During lessons treat other pupils with respect.
· Work hard, listen when asked to and perform to the best of your ability.
If you follow these simple procedures the scene will be set for you to enjoy the subject and become a fitter and better all round peformer.
DRESS CODE
Pupils are expected to bring a full change of clothing for their P.E. lesson. Whether indoors or outdoors this change of clothing should include:
· Indoor training shoes, football boots, tracksuit bottoms, dark shorts, socks, swim wear, white t-shirt.
· NO DENIM garments should be worn during P.E. lessons.
· NO CLOTHING ADVERTISING ALCOHOL.
In the interests of hygiene pupils should wear different footwear and different clothes for P.E. than those they wear to school. No items of jewellery should be worn during P.E. lesson. All body piercing should be removed or covered with a plaster. All laces on trainers must be tied to support ankles.
The school now has excellent changing facilities and whenever possible, and always during cross country blocks, pupils are able to take a shower and should, therefore, bring a towel.
