U8s games and pictures

Saturday 8th September 2012.

First game of the season. Delta colts have only been a team for a few months so their first game was a big test for them. What a game, every player put in a fantastic performance and battled the whole game. The boys were very unlucky to lose 2 nil as the result doesn't reflect the boys performance. A well deserved man of the match to Tom who played brilliantly and was very unlucky not to get a goal with his shot accross goal which hit the post. Very proud of my team today really looking forward to next week.

Saturday 15th September 2012.

A great result today drawing 2 - 2 a good effort again by all the boys. Two excellent goals by Thomas and a well deserved man of the match chosen by Ashville manager. Some great defending by Kyle, some good saves by James think the extra training off Ritchy has clearly helped keep up the good work. Alex as usual ran his legs off, battling all over the pitch. Harrison Some great ball control and running after the ball. A good effort from Allan in the middle and our youngest player Callum aka Gazza once again another great performance. Look forward to next week.

Saturday 22nd September 2012.

Well played Delta you should all be proud of yourselves today. This was a hard game. This team won last week with a double figures score, but you managed to keep their goals to a minimum. Some excellent saves by James and a well deserved man of the match for his performance today. Some excellent work by Alex. Some really good tracking back and well played when going forward. Same again for Tom who worked tirelessly all game, excellent running when trying to go forward and great work helping defenders out. Thomas played really well as a lone striker which is a difficult job. Harrison put in some good defending and also did really well in midfield. Our new recruits Callum and Bailey settled in well. Excellent performance in defence by Bailey. Overall a difficult game but everyone played really well. Look forward to seeing you all at training on Friday.

Manor Rangers 3 - 4 Delta Colts

New kit and played like a new team.

What can I say what a performance. A great team effort very single player played their heart out which is nice to see. Four fantastic goals by Thomas, Tom, Kyle and James. Right from the kick off you could see how you were paying you weren't going to get beaten today! Well done to Allan your first game in goal, the confidence you showed in goal shone through to your two defenders our captain for the day Bailey and Kyle. A great performance by Kyle after being out the game for a couple of months with a brown arm, great to have him back! A big well done to our man of the match Thomas a fantastic performance with a fantastic goal! So e excellent shots a goal it was only. Matte of time before he scored. A big well done keep it up. A great team goal for our second where every player got involved and ended with a great finish by Tom. A really good goal by Kyle from a good corner by Alex. Well played Harrison, Callum and James you all did very well today. A great fourth goal from James after another fantastic build up.

This is the type of performance that I know you are all capable of. You are just as good if not better than allot of the teams we are playing against this season. Youve made me very proud and think all the parents on the touch line today were extra proud of you all. Keep up the hard work and see you all Thursday.
