EOS 1D Mk II N

Being a member of the exclusive "1D" series, this camera needs very little introduction. With 8.5fps, 22 RAW image buffer and 45 point autofocus it makes an excellent sport/wildlife camera. Put a fast card in it and you can almost shoot indefinitely. However, thanks to the big sensor and brilliant image quality, it is equally good for big landscapes and portraiture. Most people interested in this camera will know what they're getting and why they want it, but just in case, this site always provides good information.

Condition:

The camera is still in full working order with a very low shutter count (highly sought after for this camera!). I tested a recent picture using Andy Brown's "1dcount" software and it came up with less than 18000 actuations. Being a pro Canon body, that equates to just over 10% of its 200,000 shutter life expectancy.

The only functional problem I've experienced with it is occasional trouble with SD cards, though I'm not sure if the cards were at fault or the camera. I've never had any trouble with CF cards.

I have had it sent for a professional sensor clean, so it now has a nice spotless sensor and mirror - which they also cleaned. It's very rare for a camera of this age to have a clean sensor and such a low shutter count.

The camera has certainly seen better days aesthetically, although I've cleaned it up as best I can and it's looking relatively nice for it. There are various scratches of the paintwork and quite a few marks around the strap holders. It's built like a tank though, so has taken all these with no trouble and still works fine. The screens are in reasonably good condition - only having the kind of unavoidable small scratches that build up over time - there are no scratches that affect screen viewing. The eye cup has got a small chip missing from it, which I didn't actually notice until I cleaned it recently. As I'm sure you can see from the pictures, it doesn't affect usability or comfort and I'm sure you could pick up another eye cup if you really wanted.

Included:

I don't have any of the accessories or the box, only the bare essentials. This does however include a battery (which I think is original but I don't know for sure) and a genuine Canon battery charger. The chargers are often not sold with the camera and often cost almost £200 by themselves.
• Camera body
• Battery
• Genuine Charger
• EF lens mount cap
• Eye cup
I will also include via email a .pdf of the instructions.
