David has been playing the drums for over 40 years. In that time he has played everything from pipe band drums to rock drumming in some of the worlds most famous venues.
While playing for the Nairn Pipe Band he played on the streets of New York as part of Tartan Week, as well as competitions throughout Europe.
For over 25 years he was the timing machine for rock band ‘The Kut’ who played all over the UK including two memorable gigs in Londons famous Marquee Club.
In recent years he has played extensive acoustic gigs on the cajon as well as rock drumming for All The Colors.
Throughout his career he has appeared on many shows that have also included names like Nik Kershaw, Runrig, Marmalade, the late Nico from the Velvet Underground as well as many others.
The monkey in Davids logo came about after he started using one of his sons toy monkeys as a good luck mascot hanging on his kit.
