About Us
We are based within the North Welsh countryside and our materials are sourced locally.
Eighty percent of our wood is sourced within a ten-mile radius of our location and we select only those pieces that are of a high quality.
Depending on the time of the year, drying the wood naturally can take several months, we monitor each piece carefully to ensure it is in top condition throughout this process.
The wood is then cut to shape and meticulously sanded, a process that can take upto three days. This attention to detail ensures a flat mirror like surface, essential for the hand painted lettering and imagery work that follows.
Varnishing is key to sealing the natural product and protects it against the weather, making many of our products suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
