We woke up one morning to find this proud fellow clinging to our screen door. He stayed three days, without moving and beating of the birds that call to our porch to break their fast. Even the big birds though twice about tackling him. I couldn't stop photographing him. I tried various methods of demonstrating scale, none of which involved putting my hand anywhere near those predatory pincers. We eventually prised him off with a brush and a dustbin lid, but we didn't Doom (tm) him, as we had come to like him.
