After the bikerush
After swearing never to take a bike taxi, Anne and the girls hopped on to take the breezy ride downhill to Protea Hotel. This is not the usual mode of transport for muzungu, so they attracted some attention, not least by the hotel security, who helped in the picture taking but made them walk to the hotel building. It was the dayglo jackets that swung it, said Anne.

Sunday Sobo
At Descanso again, we have just discovered the locally produced Sobo, as an alternative to the big two of Coke and Fanta. Rather nostalgically for us Brits, it tastes exactly like Vimto. Proof again, that nothing is lost in Africa.

Anne's last day
Here is Anne with her students on the last day of her 8 week mental health block. The love her, and have had a real crash course in the way the West does mental health nursing. What they do after this, I dunno.
