Open Day
With the refurbishment work well underway, the hall committee are looking at dates for the Open Day to showcase the hall after the major refurbishment work. We are looking at Saturday 3rd October 2015 from 10 am to 4 pm. Come along and see the refurbished hall and enjoy the refreshments. A concert will take place from 2 pm to 3 pm and "Eastern Gems" will perform a belly dancing routine.
Regular hall user groups will have a stall to showcase their group and attract new members. In you are a user of the hall, you will notice and feel a difference when you are next in the hall. If you have not been to the hall for some time, the Open Day will be an ideal opportunity to see the hall at its very best.
It will also be an opportunity for potential new users to come and see the hall. Various forms of entertainment are being planned, so keep a look on our website and local press to get more up-to-date information on this event. We will also be installing bicycle racks, so get on your bike and cycle to the hall as we will have a safe place for your bike to be "parked" when at the hall. A great way to keep fit and be good to the enviroment. Alternatively, bring some friends and fill your car, as the day will be very enjoyable. We hope you will like the "new hall" and be impressed with what we have done. We look forward to seeing you at the Open Day and we will have a display of the hall before, during and after.
