The Creative Retreat is in Gardenstown, a small coastal village near Banff, in North East Scotland. It may take a while to travel, but once here we’re sure you’ll appreciate this magical place!

Gardenstown is on the B9031, located off the A98 Banff to Fraserburgh road.


Travel times from:
Aberdeen - 1 hour 30 mins to 2 hours
Inverness – 2 hours 30 mins to 3 hours
Edinburgh – 4 hours

RAIL

Our nearest rail station is HUNTLY. There is no direct bus service but we can arrange transfers for the 40 minute journey. Taxi transfers cost around £65.

AIR

Our nearest airport is ABERDEEN, then INVERNESS. Various budget airlines and BA operate at both airports. There are bus services linking to both airports (see below), and we can also arrange transfers.
