"Lunch and Learn"

Through our one off or monthly “Lunch ‘N Learn” sessions, employees learn how miscommunication can lead to disconnection both at work and at home. How and why we disconnect and how to reconnect to create stable workplace relationships.

This is an informal educational meeting that is held at your organisation or in our training room in Brisbane stones corner or on the Gold Coast 

Lunch & Learn Sessions

1. Taking disconnection to connection - 1 hour - working through better communication skils to help reconnect work colleagues to work mates, managers and home relationships.  This is a popular practical hands on engaging session with no power point used.

2. Mindfulness - 1 hour - Aware of the suffering caused by negative speech and the inability to listen to others, Knowing that words can create happiness or suffering, Using mindful skills we learn to speak truthfully using words that inspire confidence, joy, and safety. Managing anger. The practice of mindful breathing and walking in order to recognize and to look deeply into anger.

3. Stress Managment in a demanding society - 1 hour -  Stress can be a motivating force such as finishng a work project or winning a game. However too much Stress can be a negative force and detrimental to our focus and motivation. While stress is not a mental illness it can lead to other helath issues.

4. Mental Health Myths and Facts - Looking out for your Mates - 1 hour - Mental Health is something that we are all touched by in some way either personally or in our families and friends. looking out for our mates gives vital clues that colleagues can look out for inthe work place - Aided by a powerpoint this is an active hands on engaging session.

5. Managing Change - 1 hour - Change can scare a lot of people, but in today’s workplace – managing change is what keeps people relevant.    Being held accountable for managing change and making things better in your work is the new normal. Change is inevitable and happens to most of us at some point. 

5. Relationship Counselling - 1 hour - Relationships by their very nature can make us vulnerable, relationships are about growth and improved listening skills. Moving relationships from power struggle to stability is abou growing and listening compassionatley and empathically.
