Colerne Parish Neighbourhood Plan will enable our community to play a much stronger role in shaping the area in which we live and work and in supporting new development proposals. Unlike the parish, village or town plans that we have been involved in preparing, a Colerne Parish Neighbourhood Plan will form part of the County Development Plan and will sit alongside the Local Plan prepared by the local planning authority. The Local Plan and the Neighbourhood Plan will be used in making any planning decision for our parish.
Bath Cooperative Alliance a non-party grass roots organisation. We promote all forms of cooperative enterprise that enable people to take more control over their work, quality of life and environmental impact. We support community ownership of land, buildings, natural resources and finance in order to better use them for the common good and the welfare of the planet.
Marshfield Community Land Trust Talk
The Marshfield Community Land Trust (MCLT) is a not-for-profit organisation serving the Marshfield community. Our initial focus is on providing affordable housing in Marshfield in South Gloucestershire in the UK for local people.
A CLT enables land to be bought and kept in community ownership in perpetuity, passed down through the generations. Houses are sold or rented out at a rate that is linked permanently to local incomes.
